Casa Amigos Cocina Mexican Bar

Quiet Sunday spot in Fuquay-Varina. Got three street tacos: chorizo, steak, and al pastor. Al pastor was the winner with little bits of pineapple in there. Solid 3.5-taco visit. Coming back to try the lengua.

I had three street tacos: chorizo, steak, and al pastor. Went on a Sunday around 7pm. There was one other family in the place.
The chips and salsa were really good. Tacos were straightforward — onion, meat, cilantro. I squeezed a little lime on them and enjoyed how simple they were.
Al pastor was the best of the three. Most flavor, with little bits of pineapple. Steak had good flavor too. Chorizo was solid but a touch plain.
I want to go back because they have lengua and tripa. Tripa is intestines, which I learned from the waiter mid-meal. Wasn't man enough to do it this time. Next time.
"Quiet Sunday night. Clean street tacos done simple. Al pastor wins. Coming back for the lengua."
